The service branch now has a $2.75 billion ceiling to spend on efforts that support its Office of Business Transformation and deputy chief management officer.
The Air Force has expanded the ceiling for a contract to support business transformation efforts across the service branch.
The Air Force Strategic Transformation Support contract was first awarded to eight companies in 2020 with a $1 billion ceiling.
On Friday, the Air Force announced that the ceiling is now set at $2.75 billion. The term of the contract remains unchanged and it expires in June 2027.
The Air Force began developing the successor vehicle last June with plans for a ceiling in the $3 billion to $5 billion range.
The primes on the current contract are:
- Accenture Federal Services
- BCG Federal, a subsidiary of Boston Consulting Group
- Booz Allen Hamilton
