MBE Night in Annapolis 2023

The Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland and the MBE Policy Alliance, Inc. have collaborated in order to present MBE Night in Annapolis.

In 2009, MBE Night in Annapolis was established by members of the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland to address some of the obstacles that prevent diverse businesses from achieving success. This program was curated as an outreach platform to provide minority entrepreneurs the opportunity to participate in the legislative process during the session. For over a decade this program has provided participants unprecedented access to engage with state and local leaders. Moreover, this program provides advocacy organizations throughout the state of Maryland a collective voice to fuel new approaches in addressing barriers that preclude diverse firms from participating in public contracting. This conference will also focus on working with the state of Maryland’s Office of Finance Programs to prioritize capital to minority enterprises.
