The U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency has given industry a preview of its plan for recompeting a technology service desk support task order with a value of at least $100 million.
CBP will award the potential six-year order via STARS III, the government-wide IT services and solutions vehicle reserved for 8(a) small businesses. CBP has also penciled in May 26 as the date to release a final solicitation, according to a Saturday notice in the Homeland Security Department’s acquisition planning forecast system.
Patriot LLC won the incumbent order in 2020 at a $45.5 million ceiling with 78% of it obligated to-date. That order is slated to expire on Dec. 15, according to Deltek data.
