November 10, 2024This Week’s D.C. Deal Sheet: $460M Gaming Resort Opens In Prince William County
November 10, 2024The women leading D.C.’s commercial real estate — leasing, selling, developing, financing, designing and advising — are changing the landscape of the city for decades to come.
But alongside countless personal achievements — doing deals, winning awards and reaching the uppermost echelons of their companies — the honorees for Bisnow’s DMV Women Leading Real Estate awards pointed to their colleagues, mentees and clients’ successes as their proudest accomplishments.
For the third-annual awards ceremony, a four-person nominations committee selected 22 honorees across brokerages, financial institutions, development companies, law and architecture firms and more.
This year’s nominees each responded to a series of questions from Bisnow, and the most common theme from their comments is that the rising tide of women’s success lifts all boats.
“I believe that when we empower each other, we not only enhance individual performance but also drive collective success and innovation,” Berkadia Senior Director Of Investment Sales Yalda Ghamarian said.
This year’s honorees are broken into four categories: Leader of the Year, Dealmaker of the Year, Innovator of the Year and Rising Star. They will be honored at a reception on Nov. 14 at the Grand Hyatt Washington downtown.
